Itinerary Details
Day 1 Dehradun - Arrival and Day at Leisure

Your Chardham Yatra will start from Dehradun. On arrival, meet our representative who will escort you to your complimentary stay in Dehradun. Check-in the hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, you will be provided duffle bags to shift only essentials from your luggage. After this, savor dinner (at your own cost) and enjoy a comfortable night’s stay in Dehradun.

Note: You are not allowed to carry luggage in the helicopter. For that, you will be provided duffle bags to carry only necessary items with you.

Day 2 Kharsali: Arrival at Kharsali Helipad and Yamunotri Darshan

Wake up early, check-out from the hotel, and get picked up by our representative at 6 am. You will be shifted to Sahastradhara Helidrome by 7 am to board the helicopter to Kharsali. By 7.30 am, you will reach Kharsali and be escorted to the hotel by a 10-15 minutes’ walk. After reaching, complete the check-in formalities and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast. Later, proceed for Yamunotri temple darshan around 9 am by a palki/pony. After the darshan is over, visit Yamuna Mata Temple, Shani Temples, and hot spring at Yamunotri Temple. After the darshan is done, return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy a sound sleep.

Time Taken for Yamunotri Temple Darshan: 6 hours (approx.) (round trip). Yamunotri trek is 6 km (one-way).

Day 3 Harsil: Darshan at Gangotri Dham and Harsil Sightseeing

Check-out from the hotel at 6.30 am, and by 7.30 am, reach the Kharsali heli-base. Enjoy a 30 minutes chopper ride from Kharsali to Harsil. On arrival, you will be escorted to the hotel. Upon arrival, complete the check-in formalities, and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Next, head out to visit Gangotri Temple. Before entering the temple, take a holy dip in the pious Ganga River and then offer prayers at the temple. After darshan, enjoy the sightseeing tour to Bagodi Village, Mukhwa Village, and Shiv Temple. Further, enjoy a beautiful walk near Jhala and a short trek to Chholmi Village. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and slip under the blankets for sleep.

Time Taken for Yamunotri Temple Darshan: Approx. 4 hours (round trip). The distance to Gangotri Temple by road is 25 km (approx.), which takes 50 minutes (approx.).

Day 4 Sersi: Kedarnath Temple Visit and Sightseeing Tour

On day 4 of your Chardham yatra packages by chopper, check-out from the hotel, and leave the hotel by 7 am. Transfer to Seri Base camp by 8 am to enjoy a 30 minutes chopper ride to Sersi. On arrival, get transferred to the hotel. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel, rest, and savor a hearty breakfast. Around 10 am, proceed towards Kedarnath helipad by an approx. 7-minute shuttle service to enjoy a chopper ride. On arrival, offers prayers at the temple and spends time with the almighty. After the darshan is over, head back to the helipad. Later, enjoy sightseeing at Sersi. Visit Gaurikund, Kalimath Mandir, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi. Once the sightseeing is done, return to the hotel to savor dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Time Taken for Kedarnath Temple Darshan: 2 hours (approx.)

Day 5 Badrinath: Visit Badrinath Temple and Enjoy Local Sightseeing Tour

Wake up around 8 am to have a toothsome breakfast, check-out from the hotel, and by 9 am, you will be shifted from Sersi to Badrinath via chopper ride. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will complete the check-in formalities and rest. Later, visit the Badrinath temple to seek blessings and spend some time in solitude. Take a holy dip in Tapt Kund, a hot spring, before entering the temple. Post darshan, explore the Mana Village and visit the local markets to buy souvenirs. You can also partake in evening aarti at Badrinath ji - Swaran Aarti/Chandi Aarti. After the sightseeing, return to the hotel for a yummy dinner and enjoy a night of deep sleep.

Time Taken for Badrinath Temple Darshan: 2 hours (approx.)

Day 6 Badrinath: Your Chardham Yatra Concludes

Your Chardham yatra package 2021 by chopper ends today. Have breakfast by 9 am and check-out from the hotel. You will be transferred to Sahastradhara by 11 am, where our base manager will welcome you. They will transfer you to Dehradun to collect your luggage. Next, you will be dropped at Dehradun airport/railway station to board a flight/train back home with positivity and unforgettable memories.

Note: Night stay in Dehradun on Day 6 can be arranged at an additional cost. This information must be provided at the time of booking.

IMPORTANT GUIDLEINES FOR GUESTS:

  • Carrying of AADHAR/PAN CARD is must for all Indians, and passport is required in case for foriegn nationals.
  • Available Hotel properties at Yamunotri and Kedarnath are non-star category and the stay is arranged at best amongst them. Food served is pure vegetarian.
  • Hotels are subject to sudden change, due to unavoidable circumstances.
  • All temples in Chardham sector are located at a high altitude, & guests are advised to carry their own medication with them. Guests are also advised to carry heavy woolen clothing with them, since during evenings & nights the temperature drops drastically.
  • In respect of COVID-19, all necessary measures issued by the State & Central Governments would have to be adhered by the passengers. The measures shall be confirmed by IHPL to the passengers 02-03 weeks prior to the date of arrival. Without adhering to the prescribed measures/requirements, boarding would be denied without any refunds.
  • Guests have to MANDATORILY submit their correct weights at the time of booking. If any change in weight found at the time of their travel from the submitted weights, which would exceed our aircraft’s weight carrying capacity, guest(s) would be deboarded & cancelled for the Heli-tour without any refund.
  • Overweight charges would be charged to guests who are above 75 kg weight. The reason for the same is that we operate at very high-altitude terrain where the weight carrying capacity of the aircraft is only 450 kg. Hence, due to overweight passengers we lose seats in our Chardham fixed departure flights. Overweight charges are applicable at INR 1,000/kg, for the total weight above 75 kg/pax.
  • Weighing at the time of boarding the helicopter is a must, since the company shall not allow boarding in case the total weight exceeds the weight limitation of the helicopter. And, due to the same reason, in case of more than 01 available aircraft, we reserve the right to shuffle passengers between helicopters to manage the right weight of helicopters for safe flying in the hills.
  • Guests are advised to kindly keep their daily-use medical kits with them, during travel.
  • When planning your tour, we strongly advise the guests to keep one additional day at hand at Dehradun, over and above the 5N6D period, so that they do not end up in problem in case the weather gets very bad after the commencement of tour.
  • We provide 01 Innova vehicle at Dehradun and Harsil, and 01 Xylo/TUV300 at Sersi and Badrinath for local transportation. 01 vehicle is booked for a group of 06 people. In case any guest or group wishes to book personal vehicle for themselves, on non-sharing basis, it shall be extra chargeable @ INR 13,000 (tax inclusive).

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Flying in hills are subject to many factors like delayed clearances from Air Force & Civil Aviation, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), bad weather, sudden occurrence of technical snag in helicopter, illness of flying crew or late reporting of the guests at the helipads.
  • Any passenger weighing above 75 Kg, shall have to pay extra weight charges @ INR 1000/kg for the excess weight, toward the extra weight charges against Palki at Yamunotri, & shuttle service at Sersi on direct payment basis.
  • Our company shall not be liable for any medical emergency on the ground to the party. Therefore, in your own interest, guests are hereby advised to kindly consult a doctor and get medical check-up done, before commencing the yatra. Medical check-up is mainly required if a guest has any medical suffering/condition.
  • Any donations, tips, pitthu and porter charges shall be borne by the guests only.
  • Single Supplement @ INR 30,000/- shall be extra chargeable, in case any guest wishes to stay in a single occupancy room at the hotels.

CARRIAGE BY AIR ACT, 1972

  • The carriage is subject to Chopper Company regulations relating to the conditions of Non-International Carriage (Passenger and Baggage) framed in accordance with The Carriage by Air Act, 1972 and Notification regarding application of the carriage which is non-international. The liability of the company for damage sustained in the event of the death or wounding of a passenger or any other bodily injuiry suffered by passenger or by his registered baggage during the course of carriage by air will be governed by the provisions of sections 4,5,6 and the rules contained in the second Schedule of Carriage by Air Act 1972 with certain exceptions, adaptations, modifications, etc as notified in the Govt. of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation Notification and as amended from time to time.

NO AERIAL PHOTOPGRAPHY

  • Aerial Photography from Helicopter is illegal and punishable by law and photography at the helipad is strictly prohibited. INFANTS Infant below 2 years/12kg are carried free of charge. In case of verification of age, ID proof/birth certificate of the child shall be checked.

HAND BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

  • Only one handbag weighing a maximum of 5 kgs is allowed per passenger.

HELICOPTER WEIGHT LIMTATION

  • Passengers would be taken on board depending up on the load and temperature conditions. Pilots call will be final. Maximum weight capacity of the helicopter is 450 kg (excluding baggage weight) at these destinations. All passengers on board must be within this limit. Hence, passengers are advised to provide us their exact weights at the time of booking and carry baggage within the permissible limit.

DISPUTES

  • Disputes as to legality, interpretation, application or performance of service or any of its terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Delhi Jurisdiction.

PAYMENT TERMS

  • The booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the charter amount. Full amount has to be deposited 15 days prior to date of journey.
  • Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 15% of the cost. This will be permitted only if informed 10 days before arrival date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 10 days to the arrival, then the booking would be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:

  • If passengers wish to cancel their booking then they will have to pay following cancellation charges -
  • More than 15 days before the departure date — 35% of total charter amount.
  • Between 08th to 15th day before departure date — 60% of total charter amount.
  • Up to 07th day before the departure date — No Refund.
  • No show – No Refund.
  • Bad weather – Full refund toward the proportionate amount of the unutilized sector(s), minus INR 20,000 toward the flight preparation and ground arrangement charges.

BAD WEATHER SITUATION:

  • Our obligation toward this charter is up to the 4N/5D period of your Chardham yatra. Dehradun night stay is only a complimentary stay provided by us. The actual flying commences from day 02 of your tour.
  • In case the journey is not finished within the stipulated time and passengers are not able to visit one or more Dhams due to bad weather conditions/technical reasons, then the company will try to visit all places within the stipulated time, by covering more than 02 dhams in one single day. Although if this is not possible then the liability of the company will be limited to refund (as mentioned in our cancellation/refunds policy) of unutilized sectors.
  • If we are stuck in a bad weather situation on any particular day out of the 5 days, we will still try to finish the darshan on next day. Suppose there is bad weather on 3rd day, and we are unable to fly to Kedarnath then we will try to do both Kedarnath and Badrinath on 4th day. In case it is not possible to visit any dham due to bad weather situation, we will refund proportionate money (as per the cancellation/refunds policy). This means that, if due to any reason we are unable to do 2 dhams then we will refund 50% payment (minus the flight preparation/ground arrangement charges).
  • In case for 5 straight days there is no flying due to bad weather/technical reasons, guests will be refunded full refund toward the charter, minus the flight preparation charges (as per the cancellation/refunds policy).
Special Note:
  • All taxes, entrance fees, airfare, Hotel / Transport rates are as on date. Any future hike will be charged extra.
  • The above rates are valid for the above mentioned dates.
